Job Role: Teaching Assistant - Year 3 Location: Littlehampton Contract type: Full time Start date: April 2024 Salary: £83.85 – £85 a day We are currently seeking a temporary Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Littlehampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a Year 3 class on a general basis, providing small group support for reading and writing, helping the class teacher with classroom preparation, and covering lunch duty when required. The role is full time to start in September 2024. Role and Responsibilities: Supporting the Year 3 class teacher in delivering high-quality education Providing small group support for reading and writing Supporting the set up and tidy of the classroom. Covering lunch duty when required Requirements: A passion for education and working with children. Prior experience working with children (this does not have to be in a school setting) Strong written and verbal communication skills. A positive and proactive approach to work. A patient and nurturing personality. A relevant qualification in teaching or childcare is desirable but not essential.
