Electrical Contracts Manager

Electrical Contracts Manager with estimation experience is required. Our client is a leading independent building services contractor based in South London who provide high-quality mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to a range of commercial clients. They are looking to recruit an electrically biased Estimator to join their Contracts team.The Estimator will be responsible for maximising profitability for the electrical department at tender stage through primarily estimating projects, as well as fully manage a range of electrical contracts.Electrical Contracts Manager Position OverviewUtilize estimation Trimble software to produce detailed estimatesWork with mechanical estimating to continue to deliver high quality M&E estimatesAll estimate costs i.e., labour, sub- contractors, materials, specialist suppliers, plant and prelims to be fully discussed and agreed with Managing Director during the tender process and at final review before submission of tenderComplete and submit tender package to clientTo negotiate contracts and projects with existing and new clientsEstimate and commercially oversee projects from inception to final accountCarry out value engineering to maximise profit prior to commencement of projectTo set up projects, prepare sub-contract and material costs for Purchase DepartmentOrganisation of program and cash flow to ensure program is metTo commercially work with MD to determine all costs, profit and cash flow for all estimatesAttend pre-tender interviews and associated contract meetingsPre-empt design problems and prepare technical submissions for all aspects of project and obtain sign-off prior to commencement of workElectrical Contracts Manager Position RequirementsProven experience within a similar Electrical Estimator positionStrong Contract Management experienceTechnical electrical backgroundKnowledge of mechanical engineering and client requirementsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and design softwareTrimble estimating software experience desiredFull UK Driving Licence & Based within commutable distance of SidcupElectrical Contracts Manager Position Remuneration£45,000-50,000 per annum - depending on experienceCompany PhoneHoliday + Bank Holidays + PensionFull Package to be discussed at interviewBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
