Job Title: Student Support Mentor Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students facing academic challenges Assist students in developing study skills, time management techniques, and goal-setting strategies Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to help them reach their academic potential Collaborate with teachers and parents to create individualised support plans for students Organise and facilitate group workshops on topics such as exam preparation and stress management Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Education, Psychology, or a related field Previous experience working with students in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to empathise with students and provide non-judgmental support Education: A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 6 months working with students in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational challenges faced by students Knowledge of study skills and academic support techniques Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in mentoring or counselling Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Contract position with the possibility of extension All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
