Manufacturing Production Planner Full TimePermanent

The role includes:Prioritise the scheduling systemCreate manufacturing routesGenerate Production Routers, sequenced to meet or beat Cost and OTD expectationsGenerate cost estimates to be used when quoting manufacturing projectsWork with Engineering to guarantee that the design allows for the most efficient method of manufacturing.Work with Procurement and Mechanical Engineering to optimise the characteristics of material ordered to allow for efficient manufacturing across a broad spectrum of productsWork with other resources when required to develop new manufacturing techniquesAttend technical reviews with Mechanical EngineersAttend project close-out meetings The successful candidate will have: Extensive experience in manufacturing including but not limited to welding, fabricating, and machining of multiple materials or equivalent experienceSelf-motivated and able to multitaskStrong people skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsGD&T knowledge If you have experience in manufacturing within the Vacuum Science Industry and an HNC in Mechanical Engineering or above or equivalent working experience in a manufacturing related field, this would be an advantage.Relocation package may be available for the right candidate.Please apply asap.Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
