Multi- Skilled Trades Person

Due to winning a large new contract, we are looking for two field service multi skilled trades people, on a permanent basis to work for this family owned Facilities Maintenance company based in Cannock Staffordshire. The company are well established and have seen steady growth by delivering excellent service and quality repairs.

Predominantly covering the Midlands and the North of England the role will require some staying away from home. We are looking for skilled trades people who take pride in their work you will need to have experience with plumbing, basic electrics & shop fitting.

The benefits of this Facilities Maintenance role :

  • Basic salary of £36,000
  • Monday - Friday days.
  • Paid overtime & full expenses.
  • Over night stays include hotel, evening meal & breakfast.
  • Van, tools & Fuel card
  • Pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

The role as a Field service trades person :

  • Working as part of the mobile maintenance team, you will carry out a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems, Plumbing & heating systems and general shop fittings.
  • Attendance and completion of all reactive & routine work requests
  • Ensuring maintenance is carried out in line with company’s Quality, health and safety guidance.
  • Raise recommendations for further action.
  • Complete all online reports.

Qualifications & Skills needed for this Facilities Maintenance role : You will have a solid work history in facilities maintenance backed up with C&G level 1 and 2 and ideally an 18th Edition along with a good understanding of current health and safety legislation in the workplace.
