Desktop Support Engineer

£250 per day outside of IR35

6 Month Contract

My client are a global organisation who have an office of around 300 users in Fordham. They are looking for 2 Desktop Support Engineers for an initial 6 month FTC including benefits package to help them with a large office move.

You will be based on site 5 days a week in their Fordham office.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Prepare and roll out new hardware to the existing users
  • Install relevant software on the machines prior to install
  • Build new hardware with the clients image as required
  • Rebuild existing hardware with the clients image as required
  • Troubleshoot any issues once new hardware has been installed
  • Maintain the CMDB to ensure all records are kept up to date
  • Organise disposal of old equipment as and when required
  • Action tickets within the ITSM tool for BAU as required ( training provided )
