We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and Mental Health issues. At Rehability UK, we are offering permanent positions with guaranteed hours and flexible shift patterns, as well as Bank Worker contracts. We are recuiting for on of our Services in Evesham. The service is a two- storey building supporting five amazing individuals with complex needs. The pPeople we support have individual and different support needs, where Personal Care each day is required for most of them. During the day, staff often support our clients to access the community or attend appointments. When our clients can access the community, they are supported to take part in various activities such as: day centre, disco nights, bowling, rock climbing, trampolining, horse riding, long walks, art club and many more. During Mealtimes, there is a mixture of support needed for each client. This can be from prompting the Client to cook a meal themselves to preparing and cooking the meal for them. Also, there are times where a member of staff would have to support someone displaying challenging behaviour. THE ROLE This role is for 24 hours a week comprising of two waking nights shifts. The role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support such wonderful people live their lives with choice and dignity, supporting them to achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way. No two days are the same!!! This role include support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning. This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.
