Registered General Nurses (RGN) – Nights Job Types: Full-time; Permanent Pay: £20.64 - £21.43 per hour Expected Hours: 36 per week Benefits: Company pension Employee discount Free parking Health & wellbeing programme Life insurance On-site parking Sick pay Job Overview: Our client, Parkhaven Trust, is seeking dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGN) to work the night shift at their Nursing Home, James Page in Maghull. An RGN at James Page is responsible for the welfare of up to 36 service users with varying levels of support, ensuring that the care, health and social needs are met in a way that respects the dignity of the individual. Theri RGNs ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including the security of the home and to ensure the physical environment is maintained to the highest standards. The role holder will be the responsible person for the service at night in the absence of the Registered Manager. Day to day, they will carry out a variety of nursing procedures as necessary based on individual care plans, be responsible for the management of medication, provide/assist with personal care and support service users with their well-being, general health and mobility. Skills and Experience: Active Registered General Nurse PIN Prior experience in adult social care or demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory framework Experience in leading a team of carers in a multi-disciplinary team Experience of supporting older people and people with dementia Effective people management skills and leadership skills Ability to consistently deliver high standards of quality care in a nursing care setting Shifts are operated on a 12-hour shift basis, and will be working the night shift. Full-time (36 hours/3 shifts) are available. Shifts are worked on a rota basis which will include some weekends.
