Diamond Light Source is the UK’s national synchrotron; a huge scientific facility that works like a giant microscope, producing beams of light 10 billion times brighter than the sun which our scientists use to study anything from fossils to jet engines to viruses and vaccines.

About the Role

We now have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR team on an initial 18 month fixed term basis.

This role will have a direct impact on Diamond’s ongoing performance and development, including for our multi-million-pound Diamond-II upgrade project, by helping to ensure we are best placed to attract talented staff within Science, Engineering, IT and a range of other disciplines.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement in wider HR activity when required.

About You

Above anything else, this role requires somebody that is highly organised, proactive, self-confident and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will have a good academic background, particularly in English, while REC or CIPD qualifications are desirable.
