If so, we want to hear from you! Firstvets in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne have a great opportunity for a Clinical Director or Senior Clinical Director to join our team! We are located in a vibrant city in the northeast of England. Known for its rich history, iconic bridges. Our caseload is varied and is a mix of surgical and medical cases so no day is ever the same. The practice is well equipped including in-house lab, cardiac ultrasound, digital radiography, separate dental theatre, fully equipped main theatre and orthopaedic kit [Fracture repair, TTT, TPLO etc.] We have a proven track record of developing colleagues and will fully support you in whatever discipline you choose. We also have an experienced nursing team who support use with schedule three and nurse clinics. We are looking for someone who works to give gold standard care % of the time, is enthusiastic and passionate about patient and client care and will drive the practices forward both clinically and commercially.You will be an excellent communicator that can dynamically lead a clinical team, whilst being instrumental in strategically planning, facilitating and delivering regulatory compliance across all practices. Your role: Provide management and leadership to both clinical and non-clinical staffWork in conjunction to ensure clinical standards are in line with the RCVS code of conduct and CVS clinical governance standardsWork in partnership with the Vets and Nurses to optimise service to clients and patients in order to develop the businessWork with the Regional Director to monitor and control the financial performance and budget of the practice Rota: Ideally looking for a full time Vet to work 40 hours per week, but we appreciate that for some candidates, part time options may work better for commitments outside of work therefore we are happy to discuss all options. We are very understanding of work life balance and are strict and supportive of ensuring allocated breaks are taken.
