Job description Job Title: Business Manager Job Type: Temporary Location: East London (Dagenham) Pay: up-to £25 p/h Start date: August/September About the roleAs the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the non-teaching-related running of the school, as part of a dynamic school management team. Your duties as a Business Manager can include:As part of the Senior Leadership Team, to assist the Head Teacher and Governors to ensure that the Academy meets its educational aims from a business and resourcing perspective.To be accountable for the effective management of the Academy's financial resources at a strategic and tactical level, ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the Academy's learning objectives.To be accountable for the management of property, facilities, and the administration policy of the Academy.To be accountable for HR processes, recruitment, and staff absence management across the AcademyThe ideal applicant will have:Relevant experience as an SBL/CFO or similar roleMinimum level 2 (GCSE 4-9 or A*-C) in Maths and EnglishDiploma or certificate in school business managers qualificationA valid DBS register with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new oneWhat you'll need to succeed: You should already have experience of working in a school environment.Experience of contributing at a strategic level within senior management/leadership team of an organisationKnowledge and experience of managing risk assessments and health and safety legislationExperience of managing budgets and resourcesFlexibility and willingness to be adaptableMorgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to temporary vacancies.
