GSL Education is seeking a committed Residential Support Worker to join our team in South Yorkshire. This is your chance to provide essential support and care, helping young individuals thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.The RoleAs a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people with their daily lives, offering guidance, and ensuring their well-being. You will work in a residential setting, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where young individuals can develop essential life skills.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential setting.Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.Assist with daily activities, including educational and recreational pursuits.Implement individual care plans tailored to each young person's needs.Support young people in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure consistent and high-quality care.RequirementsGenuine passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach to support young individuals' emotional and social needs.Experience in a similar role or working with young people in a residential setting is advantageous.Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment.If you are ready to make a difference as a Residential Support Worker with GSL Education in South Yorkshire, we encourage you to apply today Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
