Quality Assurance Technican

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician for our factory.Shift pattern is 6m - 6pm, ona 4 on 4 off shift pattern.Salary starts at £21,000 incusive of shift allowance, and is linked to full attendance.Opportunity for progression.

Key areas of accountability:

• Conduct the relevant compliance checks such as temperature and weight through calibration
• Complete glass and plastic audits and risk assessments according to schedule and for new pieces of equipment
• Log, report and investigate customer complaints and communicate this out to the production and operations teams
• Complete laboratory testing (micro, chemical & nutritional) against schedule
• Audit production paperwork and file/archive where appropriate
• Conduct daily QA checks live in the factory and taste panels as required, reporting and investigating any issues and follow up
• Issue and control factory paperwork e.g. line standards, QAS
• To raise concessions and communicate these out
• To place non confirming product on hold, investigate and report to site management team for decision
• Raise NCR’s against non compliance, support with investigation
• Support NPD in factory trials
• Conduct vegan positive release swabbing of the factory for vegan production. Vegan positive release sampling.
• Support the production and operations team with quality, food safety and legality

Skills and experience - essential

• Up to 2 years’ experience working within a similar technical role. :
