Job overview We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our Financial Management team. This role will cover the full suite of financial management responsibilities for a Directorate, including undertaking detailed expenditure analysis at the Directorate and service level as required through to establishment control and forecasting. The post will support the production of monthly financial reports; proactively investigating variances and providing analytical reports as required.We positively encourage and support continuous training with the Finance Team and study support for CCAB Qualification is available. Main duties of the job We are looking to attract experienced candidates to work alongside the wider Financial Management team.The Financial Management team are responsible for the setting and monitoring of the Trust's budgets and in supporting the budget holders to achieve financial stability.The post holder will need to complete a wide variety of tasks supporting the main body of Management Accounts, including regular journals, checking of invoices received and raising invoices to third parties.The successful candidate will also need to meet with budget holders on a regular basis within the Directorates and prepare forecasts based on these.The role will also include helping with the year-end accounts, ensuring all reconciliations are complete and up to date, analysis and assisting with the improvement of processes and methodologies within the team.
