Job descriptionPhysical Education (PE) Support Location: RotherhamSalary: £95 - £115 per dayContract: Full Time / Part TimeStart: ASAPGSL Education is in search of a Learning Mentor to fill a post at one of our client Schools in Rotherham.Job Summary:Assisting PE teachers in planning and delivering PE lessons, helping with equipment setup, and ensuring that activities run smoothly.Motivating students to participate in physical activities and sports, fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness. Helping to organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs.Responsibilities:Assist PE teachers in delivering engaging and effective PE lessons.Organize and supervise sports activities and events.Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes.Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.Help maintain and manage sports equipment.Qualifications:Strong passion for sports and physical education.Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students.First Aid certification is desirable.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service or completing an application for a new check.For more information or to register your interest in ‘Physical Education Support’ role, or to be considered, please click ‘apply now’ to submit your full and up-to-date CV, and one of our dedicated consultants, will be in touch.
