Purchasing Administrator - Full-Time Position

Headstock Group is seeking a talented Purchasing Administrator to help develop its Purchasing and Production teams. Working in a fast-paced office environment, the role provides an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of tasks with some of the world’s leading musical equipment brands.

Position: Purchasing Administrator

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Location: Office based (Halesowen, West Midlands)

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 09:00 to 17:00

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

The Role:

As part of the team responsible for the end-to-end process of manufacturing and shipping our products, you'll be at the heart of our business. Your work will be instrumental in managing the link between our suppliers and our customers around the world.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with suppliers, confirming/managing purchase orders and arranging shipments
  • Liaison with logistics partners
  • Ensuring shipment data is accurately maintained on internal systems
  • Administration of manufacturing workflows and production orders
  • Management of key company data


Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and analytical skills, with an eye for detail
  • Efficient workflow management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks
  • Proven success in both independent and collaborative team environments


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A UK resident
  • Other languages beneficial but not essential
  • Strong IT literacy to include MS Office
  • Competent writing skills and numeracy, supported by Maths and English qualifications to a minimum of Grade C/4 at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One useful, but not essential
