My client is looking for someone that has experience in construction / labouring to join them as soon as possible due to a sudden leaver. Interviews will take place immediately. FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN. Working as part of a team, you have the use of a Company vehicle and fuel card to travel to their Clients sites and collect samples to return to our laboratory for testing. You will be required to assist with the testing of samples in the laboratory and generallaboratory maintenance duties. The role involves manual handling of heavy test specimens. Samples can weigh between 2kg and 9kg each.
Responsibilities :
- Collection and transportation of test specimens
- On-site sampling and testing, including making test cubes, slump testing, flow testing and rebound hammer testing.
- Conducting Daily Vehicle Checks to ensure your assigned vehicle is well-maintained and reporting any defects to Fleet Management.
- Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times.
- Completion of site paperwork
- Liaison with Client Site Engineers and Managers
- Processing test specimens through the laboratory
- On occasion, assisting with the testing in the laboratory
- Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory & site equipment
