An amazing and very rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to support the organisation’s new Digital Transformation team. The role is a perfect introduction to the project management world in the exciting, and varied, environment of the NHS in Wales.

Working with all types and levels of healthcare professionals, the postholder will gain invaluable experience in all the NHS has to offer and will be part of team that delivers excellent outcomes for the benefit of patients and staff in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).

Under the direction of the Digital Portfolio Project Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible for ensuring the effective co-ordination of a range of projects that support the work of the Digital Transformation function. The post holder will support and provide day-to-day monitoring to facilitate the successful delivery of key national product implementations, for example; the, Welsh Patient Administration System (WPAS), Welsh Clinical Portal (WCP) and associated Digital projects forming part of the NHS Wales national digital strategy roadmap. Importantly this will include administration of the project artefacts and to help ensure that projects remain on track to produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
