We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver medium-scale capital maintenance projects with values up to £100,000.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient planning, execution, and completion of these projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards while managing increased complexity.

What you'll be doing; Manage and deliver medium-scale IWE projects up to £100k in value, from initial scoping through to handover.
Monitor and maintain project schedules for more complex works using tools like Smartsheets, providing monthly progress reports to regional governance.
Coordinate delivery routes for programmed activities, taking full responsibility for the medium-scale works programme.
Develop and obtain approval for clear project scopes, considering the increased complexity of works.
Manage resources, time, cost, and quality aspects of assigned projects, addressing the challenges of medium-scale operations.
Evaluate and select optimal delivery methods, including internal resources and external subcontractors, for projects of varying complexity.
Ensure all chosen approaches adhere to legal requirements and align with the company's health and safety policies.
Collaborate with management and local operational teams to achieve efficiencies and implement effective risk management strategies for medium-scale works.
Work on-site to facilitate project implementation, considering legal and contractual obligations associated with larger-scale operations.
Ensure contractor compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures, with increased focus on risk management for more complex projects.
Support operational teams and drive performance improvements in medium-scale project delivery.
Provide support for CAPEX and Lifecycle budget management.
Support the Commercial team with Request for Quotes, developing clear project scopes, managing client stakeholders, and delivering approved schemes while meeting all requirements for time, cost, and quality.
What we're looking for; Relevant NVQ, diploma, or degree in a related engineering field Minimum 3-day APM course (5-day preferred) IOSH Managing Safely certification Good understanding of wastewater and clean water treatment and network operations Experience in commercial contract environments Knowledge of 'Sewers for Adoption' code of practice Knowledge of Adoption S104 stage processes Proficiency in GIS systems Proven project management experience for water and wastewater projects up to £100k, including handling increased complexity MOD security clearance (or ability to obtain) Desired: APM certification CSCS supervisory level qualification CDM awareness and application in delivering medium-scale works Confined Space experience and training NRSWA streetworks supervisory level qualification What's next?
