The Role Scope

This role will lead the delivery of a range of different project types, aligned to MandM’s business objectives, working with a mixed waterfall/agile framework.


Role key responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, and manage resources
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations for future projects
  • Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes


About You

Skill/competency

  • Project management certifications ideally waterfall and agile
  • 5+ years of project management experience including IT and non IT focused projects
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, Trello)
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers and inhouse software development teams
  • Digital project management experience highly desirable
