Production Operative, Stalybridge

Production Operatives needed in Stalybridge - Monday to Thursday each week - No weekends The Best Connection are currently looking for Production Operatives to join our very busy client based in Stalybridge. Due to an increase in business, our client is looking to grow their production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating machinery and manufacturing products to acceptable quality standards. Full training will be provided. Please note that this is a physically demanding role, which requires attention to detail and good housekeeping.Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (48 hours per week). Day shift, rotating 6:30am until 6:30pm Pay Rate: - £11.75 to £13 p/hPlease note: If taken on permanent after the trial period, you will go onto rotating day and night shifts (where pay will be reviewed). Job Role:Day/Night Shifts, rotating 06.30 - 6.30 Monday to Thursday (Nights once permanent contract has been offered)Lifting and manual work (Ability to lift 20kg bags)Operating the line and packing the finished productsEnsuring the line is efficiently changed when requiredPerforming quality inspection tests to ensure the suitability of the finished product to defined standards.Finished goods labelling, packing and preparationWarehousing duties including storage of finished goods and supply of raw materialsInitial training is provided on day shifts before rotation of shifts commence.
