Swan Creative is in search of an innovative Print Manager to join our dynamic team here on the Essex coast.


  • Full time, £30k we would also consider 4 days per week pro rata
  • Flexible Hybrid working
  • Coastal Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

The Role

As our Print Manager at Swan Creative, you’ll be managing a diverse range of print projects. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented, passionate about traditional print, and excels in client communication. You will be involved in every aspect of the print process, from liaising with clients to coordinating production, ensuring that each project meets our high standards across both UK and global brands. Above all, we need someone who can support our teams and clients, driving print projects to completion with maximum efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality.


Responsibilities


Print Management

  • Communicate with clients on print orders, enquiries and quotes
  • Liaise with suppliers and production teams to collate orders and organise deliveries
  • Ensure good lines of communication between the studio and production
  • Apply technical print production and be able to order print to specification
  • Ownership on our internal POS system and order fulfilment for a national client
  • Produce print quotes using company software
  • Attending site visits and client meets when required


General Studio Support

  • First point of contact for studio walk-ins and general enquiries
  • Answering calls and supporting studio admin
  • Manage the upkeep of our online client database

About You

You will be highly organised, articulate and have a warm personality. You will have the resilience to manage, lead our print department but also support all the studio team, you will need to work well under pressure. You are a problem solver, able to think on your feet, adapt to change and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Most of all, you will be a team player with a can do, positive mind set.

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Be able to work on your own initiative, personable and adaptable
  • Highly organised in your work and support others to be the same
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional at relationship building
  • Ability to get on with people work across teams internally and externally
  • Ability to juggle and prioritise your workload
  • The ability to handle pressure and still meet deadlines


Requirements

  • Strong print and large format print knowledge and experience is essential
  • Agency experience advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in managing signage is preferable
  • Mac literate
  • Microsoft 365 suite
  • Clean UK driving licence, driving to site visits required
