Delivery Driver/yard Assistant

''' Duties :

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
• Communicate any delays, issues, or changes in delivery status to the dispatcher or supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns in the area
• Forklift license would be a bonus, but not essential
