Caretaker - Barnsley Town Centre

Barnsley Norse provides a range of frontline services to several local clients, doing so through the joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Barnsley County Council.

We currently have a vacant position for a Caretaker at Barnsley Town Centre. This position is being offered on a part time, permanent contract working 30hours per week, split shift - 5am-8am and 5pm-7pm.

The Role : In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our excellent customer satisfaction, it will be your priority to ensure the standards of cleanness are maintained throughout. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring that buildings are effectively maintained in a safe and secure manner in line with Health and Safety requirements.

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
