Skilled & experienced Vehicle Preparation Supervisor required for full time vacancy reporting to the Fleet Operations Manager.

Initially to ensure the smooth running of the Vehicle preparation centre/PDI fleet operation.

Persons responsible to the supervisor are as follows:

  • Workshop administrator,
  • Vehicle Technicians,
  • Compound Operative,
  • Vehicle parking,
  • Drivers associated with the fleet workshop,
  • Quality controller,
  • Valeters.

Main job function points:

  • To deputise when the Fleet operations manager is absent.
  • To assist with customer post-delivery issues.
  • To oversee the quality control and valet supervisor.
  • To ensure that vehicles are available for preparation in the allocated timescale.
  • To ensure all processes are followed so to allow technicians the ability to PDI/accessorise and plate the vehicles within the allocated timescale.
  • To liaise with any outside sources for subcontract work or work carried out by our dealerships and Bodyshop.
  • To ensure that the technicians are completing their job functions in line with their contracts and job functions.
  • To carry out a percentage of quality control checks to ensure the quality is of a high standard.
  • To ensure that the personnel under the supervision of the supervisor, have the correct training and support to carry out their job function to a high standard.
  • To ensure that recalls and any manufacturer's updates where possible are completed on time.
  • To ensure that all aspects of health and safety are carried out in line with company policy to include daily pre inspection checks.
  • To ensure a good standard of housekeeping
