Product Advisor

We are currently working with an innovative, family-run SME that are actively seeking a Product Advisor to join their existing team selling care equipment into care homes, hospitals and councils. As a Product Advisor you will provide an on-site service to clients whilst developing and growing sales opportunities in the Surrey/Sussex/Hants/Oxfordshire area. This is predominantly a reactive role where your appointments will centrally be booked for you as well, as having a proactive approach with upselling and cross-selling where appropriate. This role would suit someone with a background in the care industry or someone with a couple of years sales experience keen to develop into more of a field-based consultative sales role. Full product training will be provided. Responsibilities.... Provide equipment assessments from our client's core range of products and follow up by sending quotations via a CRM system Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks, booking on-site assessment visits Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives Provide quotations to customers Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner Requirements In order to be considered for this role, you must hold the below personal skills/attributes... Proven product advisory/similar experience is highly desirable Sports therapy, occupational therapy / physiotherapy / knowledge or experience in the care industry would be highly beneficial (a graduate will be considered) Strong sales and customer service mindset Practically minded - ability to adjust equipment on-site Competent with MS Outlook and other Office 365 programs Happy for remote field-based role Full drivers license Monday - Friday - flexible (some time at home and time on the road as well as the office - Kent - once a week) Benefits Basic salary £30-36k per annum DOE Commission based bonus scheme Pension Company van, laptop & phone provided
