We are currently looking for Bartenders to join our team of hospitality specialists who work tirelessly to bring our vision of elegance and luxury to life. Primarily supporting with the re-opening of our world renowned restaurant - The Georgian, this is your chance to be part of something truly spectacular. About the Role Our Front of House teams set the scene for exceptional experiences and are an invaluable part of our Restaurants family. Bartenders across Harrods are flexible to our customers' needs and go above and beyond to make anything possible. They know what it means to go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. You will have a focus on daily operational excellence and the role's key attributes will be delivering a world class bar experience. The main responsibilities are to support the bar team to deliver on the combined Harrods goals, as agreed with the Head Bartender and Bar Manager. Other expectations for this role include: * Participation in the drinks and menu development process (ideation, planning, development, execution, feedback) * Working with the Head Bartender and Bar Supervisor, to drive the bar sales and service excellence. * Providing menu introduction to guests and make recommendations based on customer preferences, able to create bespoke drinks for customer, based on their preferences. * An in-depth knowledge of beverages, classic cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. * Maintaining an immaculate appearance by adhering to the bar's dress code, uniform policy and hygiene standards. * Learning and retaining knowledge of cocktail menu including drink contents, glassware used, type of ice and garnish. As well as the outlets, wine, beverage and food menus. * Attending all trainings for the team on drinks and beverage knowledge to support in self and team development. About You You will have a great understanding of the level of service that is expected in a fine dining environment. You are also reliable and work well in a team, being a good listener and supporting others. You are an excellent communicator and you can motivate your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation maintaining company standards at all times. You have excellent organisational skills, customer service focused and able to work at pace whilst remaining calm and self-assured at all times. You will also have: * Strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. * The ability to work fast, to set timelines, hygienically, whilst keeping tidy and organised. * The ability to look after multiple guests, interact and remain engaged with them whilst preparing drinks in parallel * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task. * Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
