Tasks Travelling schools within your local area to deliver assessment and/or therapy services to multiple children throughout the day. During assessments, identifying the speech/communication difficulty through observation and testing to understand the impact of the child’s difficulties. Using insights gathered during assessments to plan and develop appropriate therapeutic intervention in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Liaising with schools, parents and The Owl Centre team regarding any findings and progress made with each child. Ensuring case notes and reports are written and uploaded in a timely manner to the relevant system(s). Requirements An accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree HCPC registration At least 1 years’ experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency) Ideally a minimum 1 full school day available to work each week (this would enable you to spend a full day in one school, seeing multiple children – minimising your travel time whilst maximising your earnings!) Ability to travel for appointments
