Role Requirements (to either hold or be working towards as directed by Line Manager): National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) InstructorNVQ Assessor- Plant OperationsDefense Instructional Techniques (DIT) qualifiedProfessional Teaching CertificateCAT B, C, G & H driving licenceAttend Defense Trainer (residential) course (DTc) Specific Duties: Train MOD Regular and Reservist personnel at the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME)Ensure the operation and maintenance of plant equipment or Engineer Construction Plant in line with Course DocumentationResponsible for Health, Safety and welfare of personnel under trainingPerform reasonable tasks commensurate with grade Dynamic General Duties: Prepare and maintain Course DocumentationMark, assess, and provide constructive feedback on student performanceEnsure serviceability and maintenance of equipment used by studentsMaintain equipment as required by the training program:Receipt equipment from BabcockMaintain the equipment and documents for the demand periodReport faults immediately to BabcockMonitor and record rectification of faultsReturn equipment to Babcock in line with doctrineSubmit reports on students and courses as detailed by Line ManagersPerform any reasonable tasks given by Line ManagersStand in for Line Managers when requestedAct as an Operator in various demonstrations when requested by Line ManagersBe responsible for personal welfare by following Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies, and other related policies Strategic Management/Communication Excellence: Communicate honestly with Line ManagersBe responsible for personal time and attendanceAchieve deadlines/targets set by Line ManagerWork within the departmental budget and assist in cost controlAssist Line Manager in implementing change within the departmentCommunicate and liaise with all other departments as requiredAssist Line Manager in working towards the Business Plan and Long-term/Strategic objectives Reviews & Planning Commitment: Be available for timely reviews and appraisals by immediate Line Manager Training & Evaluation Innovation: Ensure receipt of agreed training identified at appraisal or outsideComplete requests for training documentation and discuss fully with immediate Line ManagerEvaluate the effectiveness of training and development activitiesEffectively utilise new skills from training received Responsibilities Showcase: Work within the Company’s Quality procedures within relevant departmentsAssist in working towards & maintaining relevant standardsConform with Health and Safety at Work Regs and environmental issuesConform with actions necessary in cases of incidents, accidents, fire and environmental issuesKeep all work areas clean and safeUndertake/perform other duties associated with this role, by agreementAct as an ambassador for the Company If you're ready to shape the future and make an impact to others' lives, apply now and be a key contributor to our dynamic team at Pearson-TQ!
