We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to provide a comprehensive facilities management service to support the Company’s operational and strategic requirements. Responsibilities Act as a project manager across TrustFord’s property portfolio, to deliver projects on time and to budget (cross team approach)Ensure projects are contract managed appropriately drawing on TrustFord’s risk appetiteSupport the preparation of annual work plans, budgeting and ensure income is maximisedAs a project manager provide comprehensive coverage across procurement, appraisal, implementation and delivery using sound methodologiesSupport the development of stock condition surveys across the portfolio working with other colleaguesImplement procedures relating to the safe and secure operations of all sites, staff and customersWork with various team, stakeholders and third party contractors in an effective, efficient and economic manner This is a National role however the successful candidate will be required to work from our Head Office in Colchester at least one day per week.Required skills and experience Effective leadership skills with strong clarity of communications and negotiation skillsStrong organisational skills with a focus on objectives while taking a pragmatic approachAbility to work in a team and remotelyStrong customer service skills that strive to provide excellence in all that is providedFlexible communication skills (both written and presentation)Accurate decision making based on analysis and judgementAbility to understand projects and their risks at a strategic and operational levelExperience managing large scale and/or complex property portfolio over a number of yearsFive years’ experience in project and contractual management (evidence of high value/complex schemes preferable)Risk management experienceMembership of appropriate professional body such as CIOB, RICS etcEducated to degree level or equivalentKnowledge of mechanical, electrical and other statutory servicesProficient usage of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook (and other packages)Full valid driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 6 penalty points – 4 years must have passed since reinstatement following any previous disqualificationsThe role is national based although there is an expectation that the candidate will visit Colchester HQ on a frequent basis.
