Job DescriptionAs Sales Manager for Ireland and Northern Ireland you will manage and be responsible for generating sales across the whole of the Bosch Rexroth range. Your excellent knowledge of factory automation and working knowledge of hydraulics and effective relationship building will ensure we retain our valuable customers in factory automation, automotive electrification and food and packaging.industries whilst also maximising opportunities in heavy industry.You will be proactive in your approach and take the initiative to develop your technical ability to exploit new commercial opportunities, including in areas that may be new to you such as marine and heavy industry. The support of electric vehicle manufacturers and alternative energy sectors have been described as some of the best performing sectors in the local economy, so there is huge potential to be realised with our factory automation solutions as well as in other industries.As well as strong technical competency, you will have the excellent entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal skills required of a successful account manager including:Results orientated, with a desire to exceed targetsProactive and self-motivatedAble to build high quality and lasting relationships with all stakeholdersEffective networkerResilientExcellent time management and organisational skillsKey tasks and responsibilitiesDevelop and implement a business plan to optimize target and focus customers in Ireland and Northern IrelandIdentify and promote opportunities for profitable sales growth of our Bosch Rexroth range of products to both new and existing customersAssist in the preparation of detailed quotations and specifications, working with manufacturing plants to ensure customer requirements are met and accurate information is available for system design/drawings, projects and/or order processingLiaise between customer, project engineers, manufacturing and design to ensure clear and open communication is maintained at all timesTake responsibility for completion, follow up and sales support, including co-ordinating the activities of others to meet customer specifications (eg commissioning)Manage multiple customer demands and clearly communicate information B2B, actioning all customer enquiries promptlyMaintain customer data and record all visit information and customer activities within our mobile CRM system to ensure accurate and relevant information is availableWork with customers to ensure payment terms are effectively managed, pre-empting non payment and delivery issuesDepending upon the candidate, this role is likely to be home based but there will be the requirement to regularly travel to St Neots and Cirencester for training and meetings as well as to our other UK sites as required. Please note that you must have the right to live and work in both the UK and Republic of Ireland for this position as sponsorship is not available.QualificationsEssential:Minimum of HND level qualification in either Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR significant relevant technical/engineering experienceExcellent knowledge of factory automation systems and good knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems.Excellent interpersonal skillsHigh standard of written and spoken EnglishMS Office skillsMust be able to effectively use CRM systems and SAP or similar integrated systemsMust be able to travel in and around your designated sales territory to visit customersMust be prepared to travel and stay overnight on a regular basisValid UK driving licenceProven track record of sales excellenceDesirable:Previous experience of sales in the industry/sectorPrevious technical experience in the industry/sectorAdditional InformationOn offer is a competitive salary and pension contributions.
