Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of a Part-Time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a manufacturing company based in Stocksbridge.The ideal person will have experience in a purchase ledger role or financeadministrative role and will enjoy working in a busy finance team processing a high volume of invoices.In return you will receive the following: Benefits: Salary £25,000 pro rata, 22 days holiday + stats, pension scheme, working hours 3 or 4 days a week to suit between Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 half an hour lunch.

As the Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the following :

  • Matching purchase invoices to orders and coding
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Logging invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Completing supplier account forms and other information requests
  • Support the finance team with any other ad hoc finance admin duties
  • Respond to any supplier requests or queries
  • Build positive working relationships with suppliers and colleges
  • Credit control / monthly customer statement

As the Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will have the following :

  • Excellent numeracy, written and communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Experience with Sage and Openda accounting software desirable
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to monthly deadlines
