Part Time Bookkeeper

I am working with a private accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced part time bookkeeper 3 days a week to join their existing small but highly professional team of account experts.

The working days/hours for this role can be flexible between 9am -3pm (which are their core business hours) but it will be an office based position.

The role will involve working with multiple businesses and customers.

The job duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Balancing accounts
  • Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Reconciling company bank statements
  • Preparing cash flow statements
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
  • Producing Monthly P&L
  • Processing Payroll
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Dealing with supplier payments
  • Collecting expense receipts and information
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed

A minimum of 2 years experience with Sage is essential, and experience with Xerox, Quickbooks & CCH would be a distinct advantage.

In return my client are offering a starting salary between £11 - £14 per hour depending upon experience.

The office is based on the border of Gildersome & Morley and offers ample free on site car parking, and public transport links.
