IO Interactive is currently seeking a skilled, Intermediate or Senior Tools Programmer to join our backbone team as we embark on two exciting projects: Project 007 and Project Fantasy. Project 007 promises an original James Bond gaming experience, while Project Fantasy aims to revolutionize the online fantasy RPG genre for both console and PC gamers. As we dive into these ambitious ventures, we need a talented individual to contribute to refining and enhancing our proprietary game development engine, Glacier, through the creation of robust tools. What you will do: Collaborate to design and upgrade the Glacier editor and tools, empowering content creators. Engage with users to understand production requirements and streamline workflows. Customize and integrate tools to meet project needs. Create user-friendly interfaces for efficient usage. Integrate tools with version control systems. Stay updated on latest technologies. Ensure high quality through testing and security measures. Continuously improve tools based on feedback and project demands. Who you are : Proficient in C# and C++ with strong code design skills. Familiarity with WPF or similar UI technologies preferred. Capable of task breakdown, estimation, and participating in task assessments. Strong collaboration and communication skills, adept at discerning user needs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Master's degree preferred.
