Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a support worker for a mental health hospital based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The hospital is a 36 bedded mixed service which provides an emergency admissions service for adults 18+.

Information :

  • Location: HG1
  • Hourly Rate: £11.00 - £13.00 per hour
  • Contract: Full time/Part time
  • Start Date: On completion of recruitment process

Your duties as a Support Worker :

  • Encourage new skill development
  • Activities
  • Empowering residents to be as independent as possible
  • Listening to music
  • Personal support
  • Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc)

  • A minimum of 6 months experience with children/young people
  • Able to work in the UK and can show documents
  • Full enhanced DBS
  • Restraint training (MAPA, PMVA etc)
  • Up to date CV
  • Travelling distance to post code area
  • Flexible to be on rota
  • Dedicated and committed
