With a global presence and a commitment to innovation, they are seeking a talented individual to work with them on a permanent basis at their Gloucester site:Senior Stress Analysis EngineerKey Responsibilities include: Proficient use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as ABAQUSConduct classical static stress and fatigue analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and ManufacturingParticipate in audit reviews and present information as requiredContribute to product validation effortsEngage with external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and industrial organizationsIdentify analysis solutions, recommend improvements, and propose alternative methodsReview drawings, designs, concessions, and repairsMaintain professional communication with internal and external customers and suppliersEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements Requirements: Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering disciplineGood working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes; landing gear experience is advantageousUnderstanding of different engineering functionsProficiency in static and fatigue structural analysis methodsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsFamiliarity with aerospace materials engineering propertiesExperience working to regulatory requirementsExperience working in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) environmentOccasional travel may be requiredOrganized and able to work to strict deadlines Advantageous Skills: Working experience within various engineering functionsExperience with recognized FEA and fatigue software tools Educational Skills and Experience: Minimum of HNC/HND level, ideally BSc/MSc, in an engineering discipline or equivalent Share manages this role Matchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years’ experience
