You will be asked to state your availability on your application form Location: This role is available in our Global Headquarters in Cambridge, as well as our London, Manchester, and Bristol offices About the Role As a Motion Designer in our Creative team, you will be at the forefront of delivering diverse and intricate motion design projects for both our clients in the healthcare sector and the company. You will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from initial concept development to full production, allowing for real autonomy and creativity. This involves early-stage collaboration with other designers, project managers, and clients to define the project scope and objectives. You will then produce high-quality motion design materials, providing technical insight and offering guidance as needed.At Costello Medical, our Creative team is passionate about data visualisation and enhancing the communication of scientific content. Further examples of our work can be found here: Key responsibilities will include: Creating Diverse Motion Content: Developing a wide range of motion content, including complex animations, detailed “explainer” videos, as well as interactive visuals for both internal teams and external clients Video and Audio Editing: Supporting project teams with post-production video and audio editing for live and virtual events Collaboration: Working closely with creative colleagues and project managers at the outset of projects to determine the design scope, purpose, and strategic approach to be taken Effective Communication: Clearly communicating project requirements to project teams and providing input on any technical queries Quality and Delivery: Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality Exceptional Service: Providing outstanding customer service, building strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients Hybrid Working Policy: We recognise that home-working can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments. Exceptional organisation and self-motivation, along with the ability to proactively identify innovative solutions, are essential.While no previous experience in the scientific industry is required, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in applying their design skills to the healthcare sector.Essential requirements for the role are: A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum or equivalent), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio.
