Job Description As a Commis Chef , you will work closely with our culinary team, contributing to the creation of delicious and nourishing dishes that delight our guests. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a genuine passion for food and service. Your enthusiasm will be key as you assist our Senior Chefs with various aspects of food preparation, production, and service. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the Senior Chefs in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standards. Supporting the team in maintaining the quality and presentation of all dishes, ensuring they meet company standards and client expectations. Collaborating with the catering team on special events, themed dinners, and other culinary projects. Helping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations. Staying eager to learn by keeping up with industry trends, new ingredients, and culinary techniques to continuously improve the menu and overall dining experience. Qualifications Experience or formal training in cooking & culinary arts including working experience in a catering enviroment, such as, contract catering, a hotel or commercial kitchen. Demonstrates an understanding of food preparation, health and safety standards, learning and development will be high regarded. Have the capacity to collaborate with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
