HR Advisor

Based at our manufacturing site in Harelaw, County Durham, this full-time (Mon-Fri) permanent Human Resources Generalist role will report to the HR Manager. Joining our small and friendly team, we want you to bring your knowledge and enthusiasm to support us as a growing business, whilst continuing to develop your own knowledge and experience.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for providing a high-quality HR service to line managers and employees in regards to:

• Supporting local workforce initiatives, e.g., retention strategies, workforce planning, HR policy development, absence management
• Working closely with managers on employee relations issues
• Improving line management capability through effective coaching and guidance

Who You Are

With a proactive approach to work with effective planning and prioritising abilities, you will have:

• Previous HR experience at either Advisor or Officer level
• Ideally completed or studying towards CIPD Level 5
• Experience of working with and developing policies and procedures
• Excellent Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
• Accuracy and good attention to detail
• Demonstrates tact and diplomacy with a confidential and professional approach to work
• Ability to effectively working in changing environment, using your naturally strong communication and listening skills

Salary : £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
