Role Information

• This school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cantonese speaking Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team. You will be working with specific pupils that require specialist one-to-one support to ensure that the work is accessible to the pupil. Youwill be required to translate and assist in raising their understanding of the English languarge (speaking, reading and writing)
• This role will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 6 pupil, who has recently moved from Hong Kong to Leyland. This pupils has no behavioural or additional SEND but just needs assisting with their work. Primary focus will be working on the core literacyvalues (speaking, reading and writing)/
• You will have to be able to work with the teachers in planning and assessing pupils progression.
• This role will entail working closely alongside the class teacher and senior leadership team. You will be required to give feedback on the pupil's progression. Ypu will have to liaise closely with all staff, to ensure progression is being made and monitored.
