Working within ' Operations ' in an award-winning Tour Operator in the Group Travel sector, this position is full time (predominantly Monday
- Friday), and is office based.
Computer literacy (Excel, Word & Publisher) is essential, as is a professional and approachable telephone manner, as this role requires liaising with both suppliers and clients daily.
This position is varied and will suit someone who enjoys working within a small team and thrives on challenges. The successful applicant must be organised, confident, self motivated, enthusiastic and for whom accuracy and precision is 2nd nature. Being able to multi-task and working to deadlines are essential qualities.
There will be direct involvement with hotels & transportation suppliers & as part of a small team, involvement in all other areas of tour operating will be required with training
There may be opportunities to travel but this is not a regular occurrence.
Previous experience in the travel industry is not essential but could prove useful.
An interest in working with people in a varied and spontaneous industry, with a good knowledge of geography, and even an interest in creative writing could be useful.
