Nursery Teacher (Maternity Cover) Start Date: November 2024 Contract: Fixed Term – Maternity Cover Location:  Litherland (L21) Salary: Main Pay Scale Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Primary School who are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis, starting in November 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to support our youngest learners in a warm and engaging environment. About the Role: As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and caring setting where every child feels valued and supported. Your key responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observing and assessing children’s development, and planning next steps to support their growth. Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication. Working closely with the Early Years team to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning. The Successful Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years qualification. Have experience working within the EYFS and a deep understanding of early childhood development. Be creative, patient, and committed to nurturing the unique potential of each child.
