We are on the search for dedicated Waking Night Support Workers!!

Year on year, we have been growing and expanding our services, and we are now seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our dynamic team.

As a Waking Night Support Worker in our children's home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of the children during the night hours. Your main responsibilities will include monitoring the home, providing reassurance to the children, and responding to any needs that may arise.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Stay awake and alert throughout the night shift to provide support and supervision.
  • Conduct regular checks on the children, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Be prepared to respond to any emergencies or issues that may occur during the night.
  • Document incidents, observations, and any necessary information for the daytime staff.
  • Foster a calming and nurturing atmosphere to help children feel secure.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (desirable).
  • Previous experience working with children or in a similar role (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • A genuine desire to support and care for children.
