Job summary Greenwich - Immunisation Team Lead This is an interesting opportunity for an Immunisation lead to join the Greenwich Immunisation team. Duties and responsibilities: To be the lead for the delivery of the School Health Immunisation programme including HPV, School Leaver Booster, Men ACWY and flu programme within a defined area. To organise co-ordinate and deliver immunisation programmes as required by NHSE. Other immunisation programmes by negotiation with commissioners. Oversee the delivery of the School Age lmmunisation programme across designated borough. Planning, organising and evaluating the immunisation programme, delegating to other members of the immunisation team to ensure delivery of a high quality service. Monitor the quality of service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation. Promote effective team work across agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients and communities. You would be responsible for leading and managing the Immunisation team. This includes providing advice and support for the school immunisations team. You will take responsibility for the quality of the Greenwich immunisation programmes across these areas. You will be responsible for building local relationships and facilitating continuous learning and service improvement within your team. Please ensure your application refers to the job description and person specification Person Specification Experience Essential Immunisations experience at band 6 senior nurse level Experience in managing, auditing and evaluating clinical services Desirable Immunisations experience at Band 7 nurse level Experience of team leadership and team/people management Qualifications Essential Experience in public health or working with children Experience working in a management role Post registration qualification in school nursing/health visiting or equivalent qualifications or experience Aquired or working towards degree or post graduate level education Skills & abilities Essential Good organisational and communication skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Able to demonstrate a commitment to the HRCH values (Care, Respect, Communication) Car driver Essential Car user and clean driving licence
