Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Role : Reporting into the UK Engineering Manager with main duties are as follows:

  • Minimise production downtime associated with Control/Electrical issues throughout the manufacturing sites.
  • Build and maintain a PLC, software and controls register (including drives and HMI’s).
  • Ensure production equipment/machinery are maintained and serviced in order to deliver production requirements that meet the goals and objectives of the business.
  • Ensure both planned and emergency maintenance activities are run effectively with any operational challenges raised in a timely manner to maximise operational efficiencies.
  • Support out of hours cover when required.
  • Have an electrical apprenticeship or recognised qualification such as BTEC or ONC. - Demonstrate proven experience in completion of engineering/maintenance activities across manufacturing facilities.
  • Have experience of planning/prioritising workloads and also the balance between planned and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Have a strong understanding of PLC/SCADA systems & electrical control systems for troubleshooting, maintenance and installation.
  • Experience in working in FMCG/similar high volume manufacturing environment and working under ISO guidelines.

Working Hours : Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 2pm - 38 hour week.
