We are entrepreneurial and innovative, with a growing global team focused on scientific advances in the areas of reproductive and women’s health, gastroenterology and urology. is all about working together and sharing ideas, so the we can bring science to life for patients everywhere.Job Posting SummaryKey Account Manager - Scotland (East)You will be responsible for a designated territory in Scotland (East), engaging with a variety of healthcare professionals to promote products in the gastroenterology and urology therapy areas.You will be an innovative and solutions-based individual who is inquisitive, entrepreneurial and who relishes at the challenge of creating opportunities and challenging the norms.We are a company that believe each individual employee is at the core of their business and should be able to drive and create opportunity in their local healthcare environment.We will support you and ensure you have the learning support you need.Main Accountabilities Visit healthcare professionals including payers to inform and educate on our products according to the brand marketing strategies and to be able to feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders on local environmental factors. To maintain an excellent relationship with relevant healthcare professionals and develop local experts across the promoted therapy areas. To work with Medical and Marketing colleagues to support attendance at local, national, and international congress.You will be the local healthcare business expert: You will have expert knowledge of your health care environment and be able to prioritise your hospital accounts identifying those key Doctors and Hospitals accounts that will allow you to develop your local territory business.Regularly review your business plan to ensure your account objectives and tactics are on track.You will have a local budget to manage as appropriate and to ensure that your key accounts and customers are supported. In addition, you will have opportunity to apply for extra investment from medical and marketing if you identify a specific project or other opportunity. Always operate within the requirements of the ABPI.Qualifications University degree or equivalentBackground in life sciences preferred.Skills and ExperienceExcellent communication skillsStrong key account management experience in a pharmaceutical sales roleProven achiever of stretch sales targetsProficient computer skillsMaking a difference in the lives of millions of people means we succeed by working together.
