Our client who is based in Yorkshire, is a successful Regional accountancy firm with a focus on quality client service. They are seeking an ACCA/ACA Qualified Semi Senior Accountant (or Finalist) with a minimum of three years’ experience of working withina public practice accountancy firm.

This will be the perfect job opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant looking to progress into a leadership role in the future. To be successful in this Semi Senior Accountant Job in York you will need to be highly client focused and a confident communicator.You will be capable of handling accounts preparation and tax work independently.

An established accountancy firm in Yorkshire, our client provides accountancy, tax, business support and financial advice. We are ideally seeking someone with an avid interest in Taxation as this general practice role will involve quite a strong tax bias.

The main responsibilities for this Semi Senior Accountant job include:

  • Accounts preparation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Corporation and Personal Tax Returns
  • VAT Returns
  • Liaising with clients advising them on accounting systems and processes
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Bookkeeping activities

The perfect Semi Senior Accountant will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ experience working within a busy public practice accountancy firm and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results to a range of clients.

This is a Semi Senior Accountant job ideally suited to those who can effectively manage trainees whilst being capable of handling accounts preparation and tax work independently.
