Responsibilities :

  • Type and process clinical letters using audio dictation and ensure all follow-up actions are completed within timeframes.
  • Act as point of contact for all forms of communication between the Consultant, patients, relatives, hospital staff and GPs.
  • Booking appointments.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence as required, directing and prioritising queries as appropriate.
  • Filing medical records/reports.
  • Ensure Practice Manager is updated appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping.
  • Assisting with Private Practice Management Support work as required.
  • Assisting with compiling information for weekly activity reports for the Trusts.
  • Covering reception as and when required.
  • Providing admin support to the wider team as necessary.
