We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our busy West Bromwich branch. The successful applicant will be working within a team in our payroll office.

Your new role will include :

  • Processing starters, leavers, change forms using our system
  • Ensuring payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; proper calculation of taxes and deductions
  • Checking the number of hours employees have worked and chasing timesheets
  • Making sure the payroll is run on time with zero mistakes weekly
  • Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
  • Production and distribution of online payslips
  • Liaising with HMRC

What you'll need to succeed?

  • Self-driven, results orientated with a positive outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Excel/Spreadsheet experience working to a high standard
  • Microsoft Office / Google Suite Experience
  • Ideally some relevant experience in payroll or accounts
  • Must have a 'cando' attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills & polite telephone manner

Previous experience is preferred but full training will be given. Prospects and promotions available for the right individual.

Hours - 8:30-5pm

Salary : £19,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
