Mearns View Care Home is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Our brand-new, 67-bed care facility is based in the suburban town of Newton Mearns, offering high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and organising the workload of cleaning services within the care home. You will make sure that all works are carried out in a professional and efficient manner.

Housekeeping Supervisor Contract

  • £11 per hour
  • Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
  • Pension
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
  • Uniform provided
  • Onsite parking
  • PVG paid

Responsibilities

  • Empty waste bins
  • Vacuum throughout
  • Shake out cushions
  • Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
  • Clean taps and sinks
  • Clean soap dispenser outlets
  • Clean toothbrush holders
  • Spot clean all floorings
  • Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
  • Polish all mirrors
  • Clean all pipe work in toilets
  • Dust handrails and radiators
  • Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
  • Wash out metal wastepaper bins
  • Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
  • Wash lino floors
  • Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
  • Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
  • Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
